Ankita Lokhande sent a heartfelt birthday greeting to Shweta Singh, the sister of the late Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, on the birthday of the former actor’s sister. The actress posted the message on her Instagram Stories, calling Shweta “the most beautiful woman and an amazing soul.”
The “Laughter Chefs” contestant wrote, “Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman and an amazing soul ❤️ Love u Shweta di ❤️ @shwetasinghkirti (sic).”
Ankita and Sushant first met on the set of the popular TV serial Pavitra Rishta, where they both played the lead roles. Their strong on‑screen chemistry turned into a real‑life romance in 2010. The pair announced their split in 2016, but the bond between them remains strong even after Sushant’s tragic death in June 2020. The actor was found dead in his Bandra home at the age of 34, and investigators ruled the death as asphyxiation caused by hanging.
Today Ankita Lokhande is married to businessman Vicky Jain, who has recently stepped into film production. The couple teamed up to produce Haq, starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi. Ankita shared a touching post about her journey with Vicky, thanking God for the blessings that have guided them. She highlighted peace, gratitude, and the strength of their partnership.
In her post, Ankita noted, “Worship of the goddess in the house and the presence of so many gods has given us immense peace and blessings. Vicky and I are standing as a team today on the path of this success—our journey as Vicky’s producer is part of the same grace.” She added, “The greatest wealth nowadays is peace and tranquility, and God has given us that.
