BB 19: Akshay Kumar lauds Amaal Mallik’s singing, regrets not using talent for his movies
Mumbai’s Bigg Boss 19 just got a fun musical twist in the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar stepped in as the guest host and couldn’t stop praising contestant Amaal Mallik’s amazing singing skills.
Akshay shared that he always admired Amaal as a top music composer, but watching him on Bigg Boss 19 opened his eyes to Amaal’s hidden talent as a singer. “If I’d known you could sing like this, I would’ve had you belt out all the songs you composed for my films,” Akshay told Amaal with a big smile. Amaal looked thrilled and thanked the actor for the sweet words.
Joining Akshay as co-host, Arshad Warsi also gave Amaal a shoutout for his vocal prowess. Things heated up when Akshay asked Amaal to perform live – and Amaal delivered a stunning rendition of “Soch Na Sake” from Akshay’s hit movie Airlift. Fun fact: Amaal himself composed this blockbuster track, which became a massive fan favorite.
