Content creator and choreographer Awez Darbar is bouncing back after his surprise early exit from Bigg Boss Season 19. The eviction shocked him and his fans, but he’s now focusing on the bright side—spending quality time with his family, including his adorable newborn nephew, Farwaan.
In a chat with , Awez opened up about handling the Bigg Boss 19 eviction. “It feels great to see the babies in my house,” he said. “Though I was sad about being evicted, I’m happy that I’m trending and people are noticing me. But for now, I’m enjoying being back with my family, especially my little nephew Farwaan. Seeing his face makes me forget everything else. There’s no stress when he’s around.”
Awez has cherished moments with Gauahar Khan’s baby boy, Farwaan, since returning home. Gauahar, a Bigg Boss winner herself, recently shared her newborn’s name on social media. She posted a sweet photo of Farwaan holding hands with his big brother, Zeehan, and captioned it, “Zeehan introduces his little brother.” Fans showered the post with love, celebrating the joyful addition to the Khan-Darbar family.
Gauahar welcomed her second son on September 1, but Awez and his fiancée Nagma Mirajkar—both contestants on Bigg Boss 19—had no clue while locked inside the house. Host Salman Khan surprised them with the happy news during a Weekend Ka Vaar episode, lifting their spirits amid the show’s high-pressure drama.
Reflecting on his Bigg Boss journey, Awez admitted the eviction caught him off guard. “Honestly, I’m upset, disappointed, and above all, shocked,” he shared. “I never thought I’d be out so soon, especially on the basis of votes. I believed maybe I’d get fewer votes if I wasn’t playing well, but after coming out, I saw that I was trending everywhere.”
He pointed out his massive online buzz: “I was trending at number one on Twitter; my clips were going viral—whether it was ‘Go straight, take a left, have tea,’ everything was trending.” Awez remains puzzled about the exit despite the fan love. Still, he looks on the positive: “No problem; I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I made good friends, good enemies, and learned a lot.”
