BB19: Neelam Giri brands BFF Tanya Mittal a backstabber after Akshay Kumar’s tough choice between her & Kunickaa Sadanand
In the latest drama-filled episode of Bigg Boss 19, contestant Neelam Giri didn’t hold back during the Weekend Ka Vaar special. She straight-up called out Tanya Mittal as a backbiter and backstabber, sparking some serious house tensions.
When host Farah Khan, along with guests Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, asked who might betray the friendship between Kunickaa Sadanand and Tanya Mittal, Neelam pointed fingers right at Tanya. “She’s the one who always talks behind people’s backs, unlike Kunickaa,” Neelam said without missing a beat. Regular host Salman Khan skipped this episode because he’s busy shooting for his new film, The Battle of Galwan.
Earlier in the week, Neelam confided in Kunickaa about Tanya’s stubborn side. She explained how Tanya gets upset easily when anyone tries to give her advice or suggest she toughen up. “I told her to be more upfront, stand her ground, and stop crying all the time, but she just shut down,” Neelam shared. The two friends even chatted about how Tanya’s rigid attitude makes it tough for others to help her grow in the Bigg Boss house.
Interestingly, Tanya has always seen Neelam as her closest buddy inside the house. She often comforts Neelam during tough moments and opens up about her own struggles. But Neelam isn’t all smooth sailing with everyone—she later vented to Ashnoor Kaur about feeling fed up with Kunickaa’s dominating ways. “She’s like a veteran Bollywood actress trying to run the whole Bigg Boss house her way, without any flexibility or empathy for others,” Neelam complained.
