In Mumbai, TV star Shoaib Ibrahim confirmed on his social media that he likes contestant Farhana Bhatt’s game on Bigg Boss season 19. The comment sparked a flood of tweets from fans calling his support “religious.” They argued, “You’re a Muslim, so you must back Farhana because she’s also Muslim.”
Shoaib kept his composure. “We’re talking about the game, not religion,” he wrote. “I admire Farhana’s strategy and her courage to stand alone. That’s why I enjoy watching her.” He added that when he backed Karanveer Mehra last year, it was about the contestant’s performance, not faith.
The actor went on to praise Farhana’s moves, saying she “runs the house” and often plays bold. Shoaib also mentioned that former Bigg Boss winner Dipika Kakar and her wife could see the same boldness, especially in how Farhana handled criticism from host Salman Khan.
He highlighted how other challengers have come and gone. “Tanya Mittal and Farhana are the main talks of the week,” he said, noting that Baseer Ali and Abhishek Bajaj were eliminated earlier.
In a broader context, Farhana had faced Salman Khan’s sharp remarks after she criticized the television industry and fellow contestant Gaurav Khanna, dubbed the “TV superstar.”
Shoaib’s clear message to fans on Bigg Boss 19 remains simple: enjoy the game, appreciate strong tactics, and leave religion out of it.
