Big B recites father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poem ‘Jo beet gayi so baat gayi’ on KBC

Manoj Bajpayee, the well‑known actor from The Family Man 3, brought some light‑hearted moments to the “Kaun Banega Crorepati 17” promo that was posted to Instagram. The clip shows him joking with co‑stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharib Hashmi and includes a funny memory from his 2011 film Aarakshan.

During the shoot, Bajpayee was reciting the famous poem “Jo beet gayi so baat gayi” by Sri Harivansh Rai Bachchan. He accidentally mixed up a line, catching the eye of none other than host Amitabh Bachchan. The legendary actor gently corrected him and then read the full stanza for the camera:

Jo beet gayi so baat gayi

Amar ke aanan ko dekho

Jo beet gayi so baat gayi

Bajpayee then asked Big B to sing a few more lines, which the host happily obliged.

The promo also featured a playful recreation of an iconic Deewaar line. Bajpayee re‑told the dialogue in Bhojpuri, and Amitabh added his own spin, turning the classic into a relatable conversation between friend and mentor.

The “Kaun Banega Crorepati 17” episode will air Monday‑Friday at 9 pm on SonyEntertainmentTelevision and will be streamed on Sony LIV. Fans can tune in for a mix of familiar faces, office banter, and a touch of Bollywood nostalgia. The show’s official mantra “#KBC2025” continues to drive buzz across social media.
