The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the green light to the long‑awaited “Baahubali – The Epic” with a U/A rating, setting the stage for a huge release on October 31.

On Thursday, the makers used the film’s official X handle to announce, “Certified U/A. 3 Hours 44 Minutes of Sheer Epicness. Jai Maahishmathi!” and encouraged fans to mark their calendars for the premiere.

The new film is a re‑packaged version that combines both parts of S S Rajamouli’s blockbuster franchise. After a decade of fan‑favored success, the team is finally ready to present the combined epic to both Indian and international audiences.

Producer Shobu Yarlagadda praised Rajamouli’s team for their “no half‑measure” approach to the post‑production work. “Editing has been one of the most challenging tasks of making this version!” Yarlagadda reminded followers. He highlighted the team’s dedication, saying they’re working on “the pride of it.”

The original “Baahubali: The Beginning” set the tone when it hit screens on July 10, 2015, smashing box‑office records and launching a two‑part saga that became a cultural phenomenon. “Baahubali 2,” released in 2017, pushed the franchise to new heights, earning a production budget of Rs 250 crore and pulling in a staggering ₹1,800 crore worldwide – the highest‑grossing Indian film ever.

The franchise also garnered critical acclaim, bagging three National Awards (Best Stunt Choreography, Best Special Effects, and Best Popular Film) and a Saturn Award for Best International Film.

Fans can expect the October 31 release to be a celebration of nostalgia, new surprises, and a chance to relive the epic adventure on the big screen. Stay tuned for more updates as the legacy of “Baahubali – The Epic” hits theaters.
