Hyderabad, Nov 25 (LatestNewsX) – The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given the green light to director Mahesh Babu P’s upcoming commercial film “Andhra King Taluka,” which stars Ram Pothineni in the lead role, with a U/A certificate.
If you’re just hearing about it, the movie is slated to open in theatres on 28 November this year.
On his X timeline, Mythri Movie Makers posted:
“It is a U/A for #AndhraKingTaluka. A film for all, a film relatable to all. GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON NOVEMBER 27th. BOOKINGS NOW OPEN! #AKTonNOV27”
Ram Pothineni is putting a lot of faith into the project, as it also marks his debut as a lyricist in Telugu cinema. He wrote the words for the track “Nuvvunte Chaale,” which was composed by the duo Vivek and Mervin and sung by music director Anirudh Ravichander.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Siddhartha Nuni, while veteran, National Award‑winning editor Sreekar Prasad will take on the post‑production work.
According to the makers, the story is a biopic about a devoted fan named Sagar, played by Ram Pothineni. The female lead is Bhagyashree Borse, whose popularity is on the rise. Kannada superstar Upendra also appears as a film star named Surya Kumar.
With a seasoned technical crew at the helm, the project promises top‑notch cinematic quality. A teaser released by the unit opens with a ticket clerk issuing VIP tickets at a cinema hall. Ram Pothineni then steps in and demands 50 tickets. When asked which taluk he represents, he replies, “Fans.”
In addition to the leads, the cast also includes experienced actors such as Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and V.T.V. Ganesh.
