Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stopped by Fortis Hospital in Mohali today to check on beloved Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, who’s fighting back after a scary road accident. Mann gave reporters an encouraging update outside the hospital: Rajvir’s condition has improved since yesterday, though he’s still unconscious.
The singer arrived in critical shape following the crash on Saturday morning, September 27. He suffered severe head and spine injuries, and things got even tougher when he had a cardiac arrest at Civil Hospital in Ludhiana. Doctors rushed him to Fortis Hospital around 1:45 p.m., where the emergency and neurosurgery teams jumped into action right away. They ran detailed tests and put him on advanced life support to stabilize his heart and other organs, which weren’t working properly at first.
Mann shared more details, saying Rajvir came in so serious that doctors couldn’t even do an MRI scan yesterday. “Recovery from head injuries takes time, but we’re getting advice from top experts too,” he added. A team of neurosurgeons and critical care specialists keeps a close eye on him around the clock.
Fans across the world are sending prayers for Rajvir Jawanda’s quick recovery. The Ludhiana native has won hearts with hit songs like “Kali Jawande Di,” “Mera Dil,” and “Sardari.” He’s also starred in Punjabi films and dazzles crowds with his high-energy performances. Known for his love of bikes, Rajvir often posts thrilling videos of his hill rides, making him a favorite among adventure seekers.
