PM Modi to lead ‘Dhwaj’ ceremony at Ram Temple on Nov 25, preparations underway: Nripendra Mishra

In Ayodhya, the streets are buzzing with excitement as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to raise a saffron flag on the Ram Temple’s spire on November 25. The flag, shaped like a bright sun, symbolizes Lord Ram’s eternal energy and will mark a historic moment for the city.
The Ram Temple Construction Committee says the main temple, along with six smaller shrines—dedicated to Mahadev, Ganesh, Hanuman, Suryadev, Maa Bhagwati, Maa Annapurna, and Sheshavatar—has finished. Now the focus is on beautifying the site, planting trees, and finalizing the flag‑hoisting plans.
“Everything is ready to welcome the Prime Minister,” said committee chair Nripendra Mishra. “We’re tightening arrangements, checking technical needs, and will make any changes the Chief Minister’s Office suggests.”
Experts from the Defence Ministry are helping to make sure the ceremony runs smoothly. Ayodhya’s newly developed “Ram Path,” “Bhakti Path,” and “Dharma Path” guide visitors from the outskirts straight to the sanctuary, blending tradition with a modern city layout.
The government has poured substantial funds into the region. ₹4,560 crore has gone into upgrading roads that link pilgrim spots like Ayodhya, Varanasi, Mathura, Chitrakoot, and Prayagraj. Another ₹4,200 crore is earmarked for the Buddhist Circuit, covering sites such as Sarnath and Kushinagar.
The flag‑hoisting on November 25 is set to be more than a religious event. It will showcase Ayodhya’s rapid development and its importance as a spiritual center, drawing pilgrims, tourists, and media from across the country. The ceremony will highlight the city’s new identity—where devotion and progress walk hand in hand.
