Mumbai, November 12 – Bollywood star and lead actor Farhan Akhtar is celebrating a unique tribute to Indian soldiers. The makers of the upcoming war film 120 Bahadur have launched a special “My Stamp” to honor the bravery of the 13th Battalion of the Kumaon Regiment, who fought in the historic Battle of Rezang La.

Farhan shared photos on his social media, smiling as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh unveiled the new stamp at a ceremony in New Delhi. “What better way to honour the bravery and sacrifice of our martyred soldiers?” the actor wrote. “Thank you to the Hon. Defence Minister for making time to be here. We are extremely grateful.” He added a folded‑hands emoji to show his thanks.

The stamp launch was a joint effort of the Indian Postal Service and the film’s production team. Other attendees included Postal Service Chief Jitendra Gupta, Director Razneesh “Razy” Ghai, co‑producer Ritesh Sidhwani, and Amit Chandrra. The custom stamp, part of the Rezang La War Memorial series, commemorates the soldiers who gave their lives in 1962 during the India‑China war.

Rezang La – a high‑altitude ridge in Ladakh – is remembered for the remarkable courage of the Kumaon troops. The war memorial near Chushul honors those who fell fighting in the fiercest battle of the conflict and serves as a lasting reminder for future generations.

120 Bahadur will hit theatres on 21 November 2025. The film tells the story of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, a PVC awardee, and his men who stood firm at Rezang La, cementing a defining moment in Indian military history. The movie is directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, and Amit Chandrra’s Trigger Happy Studios.

With the stamp and the film, the legacy of the 13th Battalion and their sacrifice will stay in the public eye, reminding us all of the heroes who defended the nation.
