Farhan Akhtar’s ‘120 Bahadur’ to have special public preview to mark Battle of Rezang La’s 63rd anniversary
Mumbai, Nov 15 ( ) – The makers of Farhan Akhtar’s new war drama 120 Bahadur have announced paid preview screenings to honour the 63rd anniversary of the Battle of Rezang La, fought in 1962.
On “#120Bahadur” Farhan Akhtar posted a quick note on Instagram, saying: “Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios will hold paid previews across India on Nov 18 to mark the 63rd anniversary of the Battle of Rezang La. Bookings open today.” The previews let audiences see the film three days before its nationwide release on Nov 21.
The film stars Raashii Khanna opposite a strong ensemble that includes Sparsh Walia, Devendra Ahirwar, Ankit Siwach, and Ajinkya Deo. It follows the heroic 120 soldiers who fought with bravery and sacrifice at the Rezang La frontier, a story that has become a powerful symbol of Indian courage.
Raashii Khanna recently paid tribute to army wives on social media, saying, “She didn’t go to the battlefield, but she lived the war every day. This is for the women who love in silence and hold the home while the nation calls.” Her message underscores the film’s focus on every piece of the story, not just the battlefield.
Director Razneesh “Razy” Ghai has told critics that 120 Bahadur will bring a fresh emotional depth to war cinema. Film aficionados can secure seats for the paid previews on Nov 18 or enjoy the official release starting Nov 21 at theatres worldwide.
