Terrifying Firing Incident at Disha Patani’s Father’s Home in Bareilly
In a shocking turn of events, unknown gunmen fired shots at the Bareilly residence of Jagdish Patani, father of Bollywood star Disha Patani, in the early hours of Friday. The retired police officer shared his frightening experience with on Saturday, revealing details about the Bareilly firing attack that has left everyone on edge.
Jagdish Patani explained that two unidentified assailants on a motorbike targeted his Civil Lines home around 3:30 am. "They fired 8-10 rounds," he said, adding a chilling detail: "The gunshots came from foreign-made weapons, not local ones." Patani, who served as a retired CO in the police, learned about the attack’s possible link through social media. "I saw claims that Goldy Brar has taken responsibility, but nothing is confirmed yet," he told reporters.
The Bareilly police acted swiftly after getting the tip-off. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anurag Arya confirmed the details and said, "We rushed teams to the spot right away. An FIR is now filed at Kotwali police station under relevant sections of the law." To ensure the family’s safety, armed personnel have been deployed at the residence.
Arya also shared that five special teams, led by SP City and SP Crime, are probing the Disha Patani father firing case. "We’ll crack down hard on the culprits," he assured. "I met the family personally and promised full protection."
