During a trailer‑launch event, Huma talked about the instant connection she felt with the well‑known cast and crew. “The warmth and camaraderie made me feel right at home,” she told reporters. “I wasn’t the new kid on the block; everyone was so welcoming.”

She praised the performances of her co‑actors, especially veteran actress Shefali Shah—who is re‑taking her iconic role as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, dubbed “Madam Sir” by fans. “What Shefali and the others have done is incredible,” Huma said. “It’s an honor to step into this universe and carry the story forward. I had to bring my A‑game because these characters are so beloved.”

Huma also highlighted fun moments working with Shefali. “We had a lot of scenes together,” she laughed. “There’s a camaraderie, a ‘Badi Didi’ vibe. It didn’t feel like a new setup—just great teamwork.”

The new installment will reunite long‑time actors Rajesh Tailang and Rasika Dugal with the rest of the ensemble. Fans can expect the fresh and familiar faces to collide on episode one, set to premiere on Netflix on Nov. 13.

For anyone looking to catch the next chapter of Delhi Crime or follow Huma Qureshi’s rising career, “Season 3” promises a mix of suspense, strong performances, and the signature style that made the series a global hit.
