Jesse Plemons says he “got lucky” when he met his wife, actress Kirsten Dunst, on the set of the hit FX drama Fargo.
The 37‑year‑old actor told SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, hosted by Andy Cohen, that the connection was instant. “We hit it off right away and trusted each other,” he said. “When you’re squaring off as a married couple on screen, you hope it’s easy. And then sometimes you really do get lucky.”
Plemons and Dunst first crossed paths in 2015 while playing Peggy and Ed Blumquist on Fargo season two. Their on‑screen chemistry turned into a real‑life romance after the show wrapped, and the couple married in July 2022. Both earned Critics’ Choice and Emmy nominations for their performances.
The pair has two sons, Ennis (7) and James (4). When asked about family life, Plemons smiled and mentioned the creative spark already showing in his boys.
Plemons also talked about his new movie, Bugonia, and his work with Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos during the interview. The Hollywood marriage of Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst remains a high‑profile story as the couple balances careers and parenting.
