Joe Gorga said he’s ready to forgive his estranged sister, Teresa Giudice, but only if she comes to a conversation that is humble and honest. On Tuesday’s episode of the “The Eds” podcast, the 51‑year‑old “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star explained that an apology that owns up to past mistakes is the cornerstone of moving forward.
“I can’t hold a grudge, as long as there’s accountability,” Gorga told hosts Eddie Judge and Edwin Arroyave. “If you hurt me but say sorry, I’ll accept it. I don’t turn people away permanently.”
Gorga confirmed that Teresa has reached out by text, asking to meet. The Gorgas, who are both on Bravo’s long‑running show, have a history of family drama that has played out on the air. Joe said he never intended to argue and called the fighting “nonsense.” He added he feels he should set an example for his kids and doesn’t want to “teach them to hate.”
Melissa Gorga, his wife, reacted to the olive branch during a talk show. She admitted seeing her husband’s willingness to forgive as a sign of hope, even though the family had previously closed the door on reconciliation. “She loves our family, and she’s not here to push hate on our children,” Joe said.
Meanwhile, Teresa Giudice told fans that “time always heals.” Some viewers wonder if her desire to repair ties is part of a strategy to secure a spot on the upcoming season of “RHONJ.” The reality‑TV world has watched the family feud unfold for years, and Gorga’s openness to healing is a surprising new feather in the cap.
