Los Angeles – Joe Jonas has taken to Twitter to call out rumors that he’s using cocaine, after a clip of him looking down at his nose during a show went viral.

The 36‑year‑old pop star was spotted on a recent Jonas Brothers concert, checking a booger in a mirror while stepping out of frame. Fans on Instagram and TikTok seized on the moment, speculating the “Cake by the Ocean” singer was on drugs. In the clip, Jonas swiped back and forth between his finger and a black cloth, trying to determine the best tool for the job.

In an interview with Esquire, Jonas laughed off the gossip. “I’ve never touched cocaine in my life. But if I did, I think I’d be a little slicker about it than doing it onstage,” he said. Later, the singer wrote, “lol you never had a booger?” on his own social‑media feed, lightening the conversation around the clip.

The question didn’t stop there. Jonas also talked about how roaming the concert circuit with his brothers Nick and Kevin hasn’t helped his dating life. “Five shows in a row doesn’t make it easy to meet someone for coffee,” he chuckled. He added that he’s not on dating apps like Tinder or Bumble, but is “extremely online” and has met people through Instagram and TikTok.

A longtime Jonas Brothers fan and former Camp Rock star, Joe Jonas is also a dad to two young daughters, Willa (5) and Delphine (3). He shares them with his ex‑wife, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, with whom he was married from 2019 until their divorce in 2024.

Jonas’ quick response and friendly banter demonstrate his willingness to address internet rumors head‑on, while reminding fans that a pop star’s life offstage can be just as messy as the one on stage.
