Kalai Kingson choreographs important fight sequence in Ken Karunaas’s debut film as director

Kalai Kingson, the stunt maestro who lit up films like Marco and Bramayugam, is back on set, turning the fight scenes for actor‑turned‑director Ken Karunaas’s next project. This marks Karunaas’s debut as a director and his first lead role in a film that promises high‑energy action.

The production, run by Parvatha Entertainment and Street Boy Studio, shared a behind‑the‑scenes clip on social media. Kingson’s team captioned the video: “@kalaikingson, the mastermind behind the stunts of Marco, Bramayugam, Vaazha, Dies Irae and the upcoming Chatha Pacha and BhaBhaBha, is cooking up an intense and gripping fight sequence for our Production No 1. Thank you, Master, for bringing brilliance and energy to our set. Fun begins soon.”

Ken Karunaas earned acclaim for his roles in Dhanush’s Asuran and Viduthalai 2. Now he’s stepping into the director’s chair, bringing his signature intensity to the screen. The film also stars Anisma Anil Kumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, Priyanshi Yadav, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Devadarshini in key roles.

On the technical front, cinematographer Vicky will capture the film’s visuals, while National Award‑winning composer G V Prakash Kumar provides the soundtrack. Editor Nash will shape the final cut, art director Ramu Thangaraj will design the set look, and Dhanush’s long‑time costume designer Kavya Sriram will outfit the cast. The story unfolds set in a school, tackled with a substantial budget.

The film’s launch in Chennai drew a star‑packed crowd. Big names like Karthi, Vishal, director Vetrimaaran, actor‑director R. J. Balaji, producers Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Dr. Isari K. Ganesh, and Arun all attended, congratulating the crew on the new venture.

With a star‑studded cast, top‑tier production crew, and the creative force of Kalai Kingson behind the action, this upcoming film is poised to deliver a fresh blend of drama and explosive stunts that should capture audiences’ attention.
