Kanye West screams at Kris Jenner as she begs him to take his medication in wild documentary scene

Kanye West got into a heated argument with Kris Jenner in his new documentary “In Whose Name?” The tense moment shows the rapper refusing to take his medication, even saying he’d “rather be dead” than do it. This explosive Kanye West Kris Jenner confrontation has fans buzzing about his mental health struggles and the Kardashian family drama.

The scene unfolds with Kanye, 47, lashing out at his ex-mother-in-law Kris, 69, during a raw conversation. “Y’all demasculated me and made me feel like a piece of s–t,” he tells her. “And the only reason you got away with it is because I was medicated.” Kris tries to calm things down, begging him to get back on his meds, but Kanye pushes back hard.

He brings up his 2016 hospital visit, saying no one in the family takes responsibility for it. “If you wanna go online, that’s 50 percent of what people say. At least. Am I lying?” Kanye asks. When Kris brushes it off, saying “it doesn’t matter,” he explodes. “It does matter!” he yells over and over, drowning out her words as she points out he won’t let her finish a sentence.

Kris finally gets a word in: “It matters to us and you. It doesn’t matter what the internet says. It matters what we think, Ye.” But Kanye isn’t done. He storms off, grabs a gray sweatshirt and his signature red “Make America Great Again” hat from the kitchen counter, then rushes back. “So what do you think? Did you have an effect on my mental health?” he demands.

Tears stream down Kris’s face as she admits, “Yes. Yes. Yes. I’m saying yes. And I love you. I love you. I don’t want you to be not perfect. I love you.” She even adds that she wants daughter Kim Kardashian to love him the way he deserves. It’s a heartbreaking peek into their family ties.

Kanye and Kim, 44, tied the knot in 2014 and share four kids: North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6. They divorced in 2022 after years of ups and downs. During their marriage, Kanye received a bipolar disorder diagnosis in 2016, but he later revealed it’s actually autism.

Kim pops up in the documentary too, which drops in select theaters this Friday. In one clip, she tells him, “Your personality was not like this a few years ago.” In another tense exchange, Kanye snaps when she interrupts him, yelling, “It ain’t no but!” The film, shot from 2019 to 2025, dives deep into Kanye’s life, including his bipolar and autism revelations.

Since the split, Kanye has moved on with wife Bianca Censori, 30, who’s famous for her bold, barely-there outfits like a sheer Grammys dress and candy lingerie he reportedly paid her to model. Bianca doesn’t appear in the trailer, but the doc promises more insights into Kanye West’s mental health journey and Kardashian family impact.

This Kanye West documentary revelation is already sparking conversations online about celebrity mental health and family pressures. If you’re into Kanye West news or Kardashian updates, keep an eye out for the full release—it’s set to be a game-changer.
