Mumbai, Nov 5 – Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan marked Guru Nanak Jayanti, also called Guru Nanak Gurpurab, today. The actress, seen in a bright ethnic dress and sunglasses, celebrated the holy day with her two sons, Taimur and Jehangir.
Kareena shared a heartfelt message on social media, wishing fans a joyous festival. She then walked into the Gurudwara at Pothohar Nagar, Santacruz West, in Mumbai, where she received blessings. After the visit, she and her family left the temple, all three smiling for the cameras.
The star has previously posted about her upcoming shoot. A few weeks ago, Kareena announced she was starting her 68th film, “Daayra.” She posted clips from Day 1, tagging director Meghna Gulzar and lead actor Prithviraj Sukumaran. Gulzar added a behind‑the‑scenes caption, “A journey of blurred and crossed lines. We begin.” Sukumaran showed excitement, writing, “#Daayra is officially rolling … thrilled to step into this world.”
“Daayra” promises a gripping crime‑drama thriller that explores punishment, justice, and crime. The script is co‑written by Yash, Sima, and Meghna Gulzar.
Kareena’s husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, and the couple’s kids usually join her for festivals, but only the actress attended today’s celebration. The family remains popular for their public appearances and support of cultural traditions.
