Bollywood sisters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan share a bond that’s pure gold, and Karisma just made that clear with a sweet birthday tribute to her sibling.

On Sunday, Karisma posted a nostalgic throwback photo on Instagram, showing Kareena hugging her tightly. In the caption, she gushed, "Best sister, Best friends and Beyond. Happy birthday to my most precious sister. Love you mostest."

The Kapoor sisters come from one of Hindi cinema’s most legendary families—the iconic Kapoor clan, often called Bollywood’s first film dynasty. They’re daughters of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, and granddaughters of the legendary Raj Kapoor, whose influence still shapes Indian movies today.

Kareena, who turns 44 today (born September 21, 1980), keeps that family legacy alive while building her own star power. She’s wowed fans with versatile roles in blockbusters like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, the rom-com hit Jab We Met, and the recent drama Laal Singh Chaddha. Kareena mixes big commercial films with critically praised work, proving she’s a true all-rounder in Bollywood.

In 2012, she tied the knot with actor Saif Ali Khan, the Nawab of Pataudi, blending two powerhouse film families and turning them into one of Bollywood’s ultimate power couples.

Meanwhile, Karisma faces a tough family battle on the personal side. Her children, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Kapoor, have filed a petition in the Delhi High Court. They’re fighting for their share of their late father’s property—the industrialist Sunjay Kapur, who passed away recently.

The kids accuse Sunjay’s third wife, Priya Kapur, of tampering with his will to claim everything. As his legal heirs, Samaira and Kiaan want one-fifth of the estate each. Through their lawyers, they’ve shared proof of their close ties with their dad, including regular meetings, visits, holidays, video calls, and chats in family WhatsApp groups.
