Kim Kardashian says her dream to become a lawyer means too much to her to walk away from
Kim Kardashian says she will not give up on her goal of becoming a lawyer after the setbacks from her recent bar exam. The reality‑TV star announced on Instagram that she failed the California bar test but plans to keep studying and improve next time.
She posted a video that gave fans a window into the last two weeks before she sat for the exam. In it, Kardashian talked about the ups and downs of that crunch period and why the law career means so much to her. “I’ve shared so much of this journey with you, and this summer I documented the final two weeks of studying— the ups, the downs, and everything in between,” she wrote.
After the test, Kardashian confirmed the bad news on social media. “On November 7th I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing,” she said, adding that it wasn’t the end. “This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there.”
Her sister Khloe Kardashian joined the conversation, cheering her on. “I’m so so so proud of you! I saw how hard you studied and how badly you want this. Keep going! We don’t give up! You got this, baby!” she wrote, gamely supporting her sister’s legal aspirations.
Kim had taken the California bar exam on July 29‑30. In a recent post, she noted that the test result came back as a failure. “I’m not a lawyer yet, but I do play a very well‑dressed one on TV,” she joked. She went on to say that six years into this law journey, she remains fully committed. “No shortcuts, no giving up—just more studying and even more determination,” she added.
The star thanked everyone who has backed her, calling a shortfall not a failure but a fire‑starter. “I was so close to passing… that only motivated me even more. Let’s go!” she concluded.
