Mumbai, Dec 2 (LatestNewsX) – Netflix has just dropped the highly‑anticipated trailer for Kunal Kemmu’s new comedy series “Single Papa”.
The clip spotlights Gaurav Gehlot, a 30‑year‑old, endearingly immature man who still has his mother buying his underwear and survives on a modest allowance from his dad. His sudden announcement that he’s going to adopt a baby shakes his large, loving Indian family to its core.
Walked through the teaser, viewers catch glimpses of Gaurav juggling a newborn’s needs while making a series of comedic blunders, all set to a vibrant family backdrop.
Kemmu isn’t alone in this ensemble. The show also brings together Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza, Prajakta Koli, Neha Dhupia, Suhail Nayar, Dayanand Shetty, Aisha Ahmed, Dhruv Rathee, and Isha Talwar.
When asked about the role, Kemmu reflected, “Playing Gaurav has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The character is flawed, funny, and fiercely loving… just like so many real‑life single parents. I think audiences will see themselves and their families in this show. Prajakta Koli, portraying Namrata, Gaurav’s sister, explained, “Single Papa highlights what a perfectly imperfect Indian family looks like.
