Lakshmi Manchu says ‘Your love is what keeps me going’ as she turns 48

Actress Lakshmi Manchu turned 48 on Wednesday and gave fans a peek at her celebration on Instagram. The Chennai‑based star, known for her work in “Kaatrin Mozhi,” posted a lively video of herself cutting several cakes with a big grin. The shot was taken in a brightly lit room filled with flowers and colorful balloons, and she followed it up with photos of her friends and a playful, child‑like moment amid balloons.

In her caption, Lakshmi expressed gratitude, writing, “Grateful for another year around the sun! Your love is what keeps me going.” Her brother, actor Manoj Manchu, joined the celebration by sharing unseen photos and a heartfelt birthday wish. He praised her as “my biggest inspiration” and highlighted her ability to juggle roles as a mother, actress, and producer, adding, “You light up every room you walk into, and keep shining your light everywhere you go.”

Professionally, Lakshmi has been busy with the thriller “Daksha: A Deadly Conspiracy,” which hit theaters on September 20. The film follows a determined woman uncovering a deadly conspiracy amid corruption, supernatural forces, and a race against time. Directed by Vamsee Krishna Malla, the cast also features Mohan Babu, Viswant Duddumpudi, Samuthirakani, and Siddique.
