Mumbai, Nov 26 (LatestNewsX) – The news that veteran actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24 sent shockwaves through the entire country, especially Bollywood.
The Deol family has organized a “CELEBRATION OF LIFE” prayer meet for the late superstar, scheduled for Thursday, November 27. An invitation circulating on social media, headlined as “CELEBRATION OF LIFE” rather than “Prayer Meet,” reads: “Dharmendra 8 December 1935 – 24 November 2025, 27 November 2025, 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm – [venue address].” According to reports, singer Sonu Nigam will perform the late actor’s signature songs during the gathering.
On November 25, most of Bollywood—including many well‑known figures—visited the Deol home to offer their condolences. Among them, veteran star Jeetendra, a close friend of Dharmendra for nearly five decades, was seen heading slowly to the residence in his mid‑80s. Hrithik Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan also stopped by to support the grieving family.
Additional actors such as Varun Dhawan, Jaccky Bhagnani, Rakul Preet Singh, Ajay Devgn, and Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind paid their respects. Dharmendra, who died at age 89, had been on a ventilator a few weeks earlier after struggling with breathing; he was discharged and returned home for further treatment.
