Chennai – The team behind director Sandeep Raj’s upcoming romantic‑action flick Mowgli 2025, which stars Roshan Kanakala in the lead, has delighted fans on Thursday by releasing the lyrical video for the film’s energetic second single, Vanavaasam.
Spreading the clip on X and YouTube, the production house, People Media Factory, posted:

The track, tuned by music director Kaala Bhairava with lyrics penned by Kalyan Chakravarthy, is sung by Kaala Bhairava and Sony Komanduri.
Since the first teaser dropped, anticipation for the film has been running high. The teaser opens with a voice‑over from actor Nani, who narrates a brief love story set in the year 2025—a period where technology is still shrouded in mystery and even the jungle has no cellular coverage. He speaks of a young man named Kittu who, although not a gangster or smuggler, can keep 30 people on their toes simply by his presence. The video then showcases romantic sequences while Nani continues to describe how this character knows more about surviving in the wilderness than we do in the city.
Later in the teaser, Bandi Saroj Kumar delivers a sharp line: “Mowgli, get ready for Sher Khan is on his way.” These moments hint at the central conflict: Roshan Kanakala’s character will clash with Saroj Kumar’s antagonist over matters of love and survival.
Inside sources told LatestNewsX that the film wrapped its third shooting schedule in August, which included a 15‑day climax shoot in Maredumilli. Reporters noted that Roshan Kanakala opted to perform many of the stunts himself during the final sequence, a decision that is expected to be a highlight of the film’s action choreography.
For those new to the lead, Roshan Kanakala first impressed audiences with his breakthrough performance in Bubble Gum and will now headline Mowgli 2025 under the direction of Sandeep Raj, famed for the National Award‑winning Color Photo.
The project is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. Sakshi Sagar Mhadolkar will make her heroine debut, while Rama Maruthi M handles cinematography. Kaala Bhairava provides the score, Kodati Pawan Kalyan edits the film, Kiran Mamidi is in charge of art direction, and Nataraj Madigonda choreographs the action. The screenplay is credited to Rama Maruthi M and Radhakrishna Reddy.
