The film “Karuppu” – a new action‑thriller starring Suriya – has just dropped a fresh song for the Indian festival of Deepavali. Dream Warrior Pictures shared a bright, fan‑favourite lyrical video for the upbeat folk track “God Mode,” making the movie’s buzz feel even hotter.
The video, produced by Sai Abhyankkar and written by Vishnu Edavan1, features Suriya’s friend‑balladeer Gana Muthu and a powerful beat that fans can sing along to. Dream Warrior’s post read: “The first roar of #Karuppu has arrived! Experience the power‑packed #GodMode, a fiery blend of sound, spirit, and style. Song out now! A @SaiAbhyankkar musical. Lyrics by @VishnuEdavan1.”
“Karuppu” was created for director RJ Balaji, who has teased a film packed with action, humor and a strong moral core. The teaser, released on Suriya’s birthday last year, shows a powerful deity worshipped with chilli powder. The voiceover explains, “Kiss the deity with chillies if you want justice. That’s how you worship a fierce Karuppu.” The teaser introduces Suriya’s character, Saravanan – a lawyer who also goes by “Karuppu.” He delivers punchy lines that promise big entertainment.
The cast features Trisha as the female lead, and the film will also bring Malayalam performers Indrans, Sshivada and Swasika, along with Tamil comedians Yogi Babu and actor‑cinematographer Natty in key roles. Saravanan’s fights and thrills will be choreographed by Vikram Mor.
Music will come from rising star Sai Abhyankkar, and cinematography will be handled by GK Vishnu, who lit up past hits such as “Bigil,” “Jawan” and “Mersal.” Editor R Kalaivanan rounds out the key crew, while Arun Venjaramoodu works as art director.
With a music video on Deepavali, “Karuppu” cements itself as a blockbuster candidate. Fans can expect a mix of high‑energy action, engaging drama and a soundtrack that keeps them dancing.
