Maheep Kapoor says her first trip to Vaishno Devi was downright magical.
On Saturday, the actress‑turned‑wife of Sanjay Kapoor posted a series of photos from the pilgrimage on Instagram. “My first trip to Vaishno Devi & it was as magical as I expected,” she wrote, adding a heart‐felt “#Blessed” and “Jai Mata Di”. The pictures show her taking in the peaceful views of the temple complex in Katra, Jammu, and enjoying moments with friends and family.
Maheep was accompanied by close friend Bhavna Panday, Sanjay Kapoor’s son’s wife, and other relatives. The group walked the 13‑kilometre path to the shrine, sharing smiles and prayers along the way. Bhavna, who also posted from the yatra, called it “the most amazing Yatra to the Vaishno Devi Mandir Jai Mata Di Love and Light.”
Their friendship isn’t new. Maheep and Bhavna have known each other for years, often vacationing together with their husbands, Sanjay Kapoor and Chunky Pandey. The pair has also been seen together on the reality show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, where they appeared with other Bollywood families. Even their daughters—Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor—are best friends and frequently support each other in public.
