Actor Manav Kaul is set to headline Netflix’s new supernatural drama “Baramulla.” The show drops on the streaming platform on November 7 and will take viewers on a chilling mystery through the beautiful valley of Kashmir.
In the story, Kaul plays DSP Ridwaan Sayyad, a police officer summoned to investigate a series of missing‑children cases. His search quickly turns supernatural, as the landscape itself seems to come alive with secrets.
Director Aditya Suhas Jambhale explains that Kashmir is more than a backdrop. “It’s a living, breathing character,” he says. “Our goal is to weave emotion with tension and supernatural elements so that global audiences feel the valley’s pulse and the humanity at the heart of every mystery.”
Producer Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios shares the excitement. “After the success of ‘Article 370,’ we’re thrilled to bring another genre‑bending concept to Netflix,” she says, adding that the partnership with B62 Studios and the creator of “Dhoom Dhaam” is expected to keep Indian audiences hooked.
Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar echo that sentiment. “Baramulla steps into rarely explored Indian cinema territory, blending drama with supernatural intrigue,” they say. “It’s thrilling, emotional, and totally unpredictable—a show that will stay with viewers long after it ends.”
The cast also includes Bhasha Sumbli as Gulnaar, who adds depth to the story’s complex relationships.
Mark your calendar for November 7 when “Baramulla” plunges into Netflix’s library. The show promises haunting visuals, a gripping plot, and a fresh take on supernatural thrillers that many have been waiting for in the Indian‑made streaming lineup.
