In Hyderabad on Saturday, the mega‑star Chiranjeevi celebrated director Anil Ravipudi’s birthday by gifting him a special watch. The crew then sliced a cake for the director, who was visibly touched by the surprise and the heartfelt wishes from the star.
On his X profile, Chiranjeevi posted, “Many Many Happy Returns of the Day to my Director @AnilRavipudi. Your warmth on set and your joyous filmmaking style make every moment special. Ravipudi’s upcoming film, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, has already sparked great excitement. Production crews began shooting the climax fight earlier this month, a sequence that will feature Chiranjeevi and a roster of fighters in Hyderabad. Sources say the action is unlike typical stunts, described as “visually captivating,” with choreographer Venkat Master steering every movement. With Chiranjeevi’s charisma and Ravipudi’s signature touch, the film aims to deliver a memorable finish.
The film’s title teaser, released around Chiranjeevi’s birthday, shows him arriving in a smartly dressed mode of transport, then followed by a squad of commandos armed with weapons. The background soundtrack repeats the word “Boss” several times, giving the impression of a security leader. Initially labeled as #Mega157, the project is being produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.
After Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather, Nayanthara will share the screen with Chiranjeevi for a third time, and actor Venkatesh will make a cameo—that will be the first on‑screen pairing of Venkatesh and Chiranjeevi. Bheems Ceciroleo is handling the music, Sameer Reddy is the director of photography, Tammiraju edits, A S Prakash manages art direction, and S Krishna serves as executive producer, having co‑written the story with G Adi Narayana. The film is slated for a Sankranti 2026 release.
