Miley Cyrus is adding a brand‑new song to James Cameron’s upcoming “Avatar: Fire and Ash.” The singer‑songwriter has teamed up with Andrew Wyatt, Mark Ronson and Simon Franglen to record “Dream as One.” The track will play over the film’s end credits and on the official soundtrack.
The “Avatar” score—written by Simon Franglen—will drop on December 12, while Miley’s single arrives on November 14. The pop star teased a snippet on social media, saying she’s excited to give the film an original piece that reflects her own experience of rising from fire and rebuilding. She called the film’s focus on unity, healing and love “deeply meaningful” and thanked “Jim” for the chance to contribute.
“Avatar: Fire and Ash” follows 2022’s “The Way of Water” and marks Cameron’s return to Pandora. The movie features a large ensemble cast, including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldana, and Kate Winslet.
Miley isn’t new to movie music. Last December she delivered the original track “Beautiful That Way” for “The Last Showgirl” soundtrack. Fans can look forward to hearing her fresh sound inside the next “Avatar” film.
