Mira Rajput Kapoor, the entrepreneur and wife of Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor, is beaming with pride over her brother-in-law Ishaan Khatter’s latest work. The actress and influencer jumped on social media to rave about Ishaan’s standout performance in the film Homebound, calling it a truly moving experience.

After catching a screening, Mira poured her heart out in an emotional post. "I had the privilege of watching Homebound and struggled that day—and for many days after—to put into words how much it affected me," she wrote. She described how some movies hit you so deeply that silence becomes the biggest cheer and tears offer the most genuine feedback.

Turning her spotlight on Ishaan, Mira gushed, "Ishaan, you’ve filled our hearts with pride. Fly with your magic and touch the world with your gift." She also shouted out co-star Vishal Jethwa, nearly typing his character’s name Chandan by mistake, and added, "You became him, and I’m still thinking about your performance." Mira wrapped up by thanking director Neeraj Ghaywan for bringing this powerful story to life.

Fans know Mira and Ishaan share a super close bond—they’re almost the same age and act more like best friends than just in-laws. The duo has often chatted about their tight friendship, which goes way beyond family. Mira’s glowing words really show how thrilled she is with Ishaan’s rising success in Bollywood.

As for Homebound, this drama has been turning heads for all the right reasons. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan, it stars Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa, and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles. The film’s gripping performances have won over critics and viewers, making it one of the year’s buzziest Indian movies. And get this—it’s now India’s official entry for the Oscars, putting the cast and crew in the global spotlight as they represent the country on the world stage.
