Tollywood star Nani just boosted excitement for his upcoming action drama “The Paradise” by announcing that veteran actor Mohan Babu has joined the cast in a powerful villain role.

Nani kicked things off by sharing Mohan Babu’s first look poster on social media, introducing him as the intense character Shikanja Maalik. In the striking image, Mohan Babu exudes swagger with a cigar clenched in his teeth and a rifle slung over his shoulder. He rocks a colorful printed shirt paired with black pants, standing in front of a classic vintage car that adds to the gritty vibe.

The film’s production house, SLV Cinemas, also unveiled the poster online, calling Mohan Babu “The Dark Lord of cinema” who rises again as Shikanja Maalik to deliver top-tier villainy. Nani hyped it up in his caption: “There are great heroes and there are great villains. He is that and this and a lot more. Here he is to remind you one more time why he is THE @themohanbabu.”

Earlier this month, Nani gave fans a sneak peek at his own transformation for the movie. He posted a photo showing off his ripped biceps as he prepares to play the lead role of Jadel under director Srikanth Odela’s vision. Nani wrote alongside it, “17 years with all your love. I’m just getting started …”

Adding more star power, rising actor Raghav Juyal steps in as the main antagonist. Juyal recently impressed audiences with his intense role in the action thriller “Kill” and appeared in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut “The Bastards of Bollywood.”

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri for SLV Cinemas, “The Paradise” marks one of Nani’s biggest projects yet. It’s his second team-up with director Srikanth Odela following their hit film “Dasara.” This pan-India release will hit screens in eight languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and even Spanish—reaching fans across the globe.
