Mumbai, October 14 – Bollywood director Mohit Suri blew up his Instagram on Aneet Padda’s birthday, calling her “my star” and sending a playful love note that fans shared in waves.
In a sunny picture, the filmmaker is planting a sweet kiss on the actress’s head while she smiles with her eyes closed. The caption read: “Happy birthday my star @aneetpadda! Thank you for lighting up the way for all of us … love you forever and ever and ever #happybirthdayaneetpadda #allaboutlastnight.”
Aneet turned 23 last night and reportedly celebrated in London with her rumored boyfriend Ahaan Panday. The pair hit a Coldplay concert, and video footage showed the birthday girl cutting her cake while Ahaan – also in black – was the first to feed her a slice. The moment sparked fresh dating gossip on social media.
Aneet Padda exploded onto the scene with her debut in Mohit Suri’s romantic drama “Saiyaara.” The film, released in theatres on July 18, drew praise for its heartfelt performances by both Ahaan Panday and Aneet. The story follows musician Krish Kapoor (Ahaan) and poet Vaani Batra (Aneet) as they discover love in unexpected places, loosely adapted from the 2004 Korean classic “A Moment to Remember.”
The movie later landed on Netflix on September 12, expanding its reach worldwide. Mohit Suri said, “Saiyaara will always be a very special film for me.
