Chennai, Oct 18 – The upcoming action film Mysaa is generating buzz after a series of social‑media posts from its production house, UnFormula Films. The film, directed by Rawindra Pulle, stars Rashmika Mandanna in a role that the actress says will reveal a new, fierce side of herself.
UnFormula Films answered a tweet that quoted Rashmika saying, “I feel Thamma was my first venture into an action space. Thamma is the entry point, and now I’m filming Mysaa, a physical, intense, action‑packed movie.” The studio replied, “Physical, intense, action‑packed. #Mysaa will bring out the beast & the best in @IamRashmika like never before.”
The film’s music is solidified with the appointment of composer Jakes Bejoy. On X, the studio posted, “Welcome the sensational composer @jakes_bejoy to Mysaa. Get ready for music that’s emotional and powerful.”
Cinematography comes from top‐rated Indian cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna. UnFormula had earlier welcomed him in a post: “In Mysaa, every landscape tells a story. His visuals will leave a lasting impact.”
For the stunts, the team hired international choreographer Andy Long, known for work on Commando, Kung Fu Warrior, and other big‑budget films.
Rashmika shared the first‑look poster on Instagram, describing the character she plays as “a version of me that even I hadn’t met until now.” She added, “I always try to give you something new… fierce, intense, and raw. I’m nervous but super excited for you to see what we’re creating.”
Mysaa is billed as an emotional action thriller where Rashmika portrays a woman from the Gond community. The film is being backed by producers Ajay and Anil Sayyapureddy and is set to release soon.
