In Hyderabad, Telangana, popular actor Nagarjuna Akkineni joined the lively Alai Balai festival celebrations on October 3. The veteran star turned heads in a traditional ethnic kurta, flashing warm smiles and greeting fans and attendees with his signature charm.
Earlier that day, TPCC chief Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud highlighted why the upcoming Alai Balai 2025 event matters so much. He called it one of the best initiatives ever, crediting BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya for making it happen. “Even though he represents the BJP, he’s a leader who connects with everyone’s heart,” Goud said. “This festival brings together people from all walks of life across Telangana, no matter their politics, religion, or caste.”
Launched back in 2005 by Bandaru Dattatreya, Alai Balai has become a must-see celebration of Telangana’s vibrant cultural heritage. Expect colorful displays of traditional music, energetic dances, delicious local cuisine, and handmade crafts that showcase the region’s rich traditions and community spirit.
