Hyderabad – The buzz in the film world just got louder. Actress Nayanthara is set to join Tollywood superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna as the female lead in his next big movie, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The project, still called #NBK111, was first announced on the actor’s birthday earlier this year.

The film is a historical epic that promises grand sets and high‑energy action. Filming will begin with a launch ceremony in November, after a brief delay that pushed the date back from the original October launch.

This marks the second collaboration between Balakrishna and director Malineni, who last teamed up for the blockbuster “Veera Simha Reddy.” Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru, who is also working on the ambitious pan‑India project “Peddi,” will back #NBK111 through Vriddhi Cinemas. The movie aims to deliver a high‑budget spectacle that blends intense drama with sweeping visuals.

Sources say the crew is now scouting locations in Rajasthan, looking for the ideal historical backdrop to bring the story to life. Malineni will take a first‑time dive into the historical drama genre, adding his signature mass‑appeal style to create a memorable cinematic experience.

With the script described as bold and unique, the production is in the final stages of pre‑production. Fans can expect a powerful blend of emotion, action, and storytelling that showcases Balakrishna in a fresh, larger‑than‑life avatar. The film promises to be a standout addition to Telugu cinema’s growing lineup of pan‑Indian blockbusters.
