Nayanthara welcomed Diwali by celebrating with family and friends, sharing the warmth of the festival on social media.

The star, known for her role in Jawan, posted photos wearing a classic green silk saree trimmed with gold. She finished her look with a neat bun and shining golden jhumkas. Her husband, director Vignesh Shivan, joined her in a matching kurta, and their two boys, Uyir Rudronil and Ulag Dhaivag, wore white kurta pajamas that mirrored their parents’ outfits.

Their festive snapshot also featured the legendary actor Chiranjeevi, who came to town for the celebration. Nayanthara captioned the post: “This Diwali felt different—full of warmth, full of love, and the feeling of finding home in the people around me ❤️🤗.” She added, “May the light stay within and around us, always ✨🕌 Happy Diwali.”

On October 9, Nayanthara marked her 22nd year in the film industry. She thanked fans and co‑stars in a handwritten note on Instagram Stories: “Twenty‑two years since I first stood in front of the camera, not knowing movies would become the love of my life.
