Nia Sharma Celebrates 15 Years in TV with a Sweet Cake Moment
It’s been an incredible 15 years since Nia Sharma first lit up our TV screens, and the popular actress marked the milestone in the cutest way possible. Nia, known for her vibrant roles in hit shows, shared a fun video on social media of her celebrating at home with a custom cake featuring her own picture. In the clip, she hesitates before cutting it, saying, "This cake is so pretty, I don’t even want to slice it!" Fans couldn’t get enough of the adorable home vibe.
Nia kicked off her acting journey back in 2010 with Star Plus’s "Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha," where she played the character Anu. She followed it up with a role as Nisha Mehta in "Behenein." But it was her breakout performance as Manvi Chaudhary in "Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai" that shot Nia Sharma to stardom, making her a household name in Indian television.
From there, Nia’s career just kept soaring. She charmed audiences as Roshni Patel in "Jamai Raja," brought intensity to Aarohi Kashyap in "Ishq Mein Marjawan," and slayed as Brinda Parekh in the supernatural hit "Naagin 4." Nia Sharma hasn’t shied away from reality TV either—she’s thrilled viewers in "Khatron Ke Khiladi 14," danced her heart out on "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10," and is currently entertaining everyone as a contestant on "Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment."
Just a day after the cake celebration, Nia opened up about feeling under the weather. On Friday, she posted a selfie from her bed, revealing she’d caught a nasty cold. Blaming it on her love for iced drinks and beauty hacks, she wrote, "Woke up with the most severe cold ever. 🙁 Oh, sorry, never slept a wink. Had dipped my face in ice water during a shoot… and may have an iced matcha later. Ice ice baby ho gaya mera (I’ve turned into an ice baby)!"
Nia shared her go-to remedies to bounce back, crediting her mom’s tips: "Had warm water with ginger and black pepper. Besan ka halwa (chickpea dessert) (quickest relief remedy). Suck on cloves and black pepper 2-3 times a day. These are my mom’s nuske (hacks). And I’ll be 90% better by evening. Always worked for me." It’s heartwarming to see Nia Sharma balancing her busy TV career with these simple, relatable moments—here’s hoping she feels better soon!
