Mumbai, Oct 19 – Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, celebrated new parenthood when they welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Sunday. The couple shared the joyous news on Instagram, posting a bright celadon‑striped graphic inside a heartfelt caption that read, “He’s finally here! Our Baby Boy and we literally can’t remember life before. Arms full, hearts fuller. First we had each other, now we have everything. With gratitude, Parineeti & Raghav.”
Earlier that day, news broke that Parineeti had been admitted to a hospital in Delhi, where doctors were preparing for her delivery. The actress had moved to the capital before giving birth, and after a smooth delivery, the family celebrated the arrival at home.
The announcement comes more than two years after the couple married in Udaipur. They exchanged vows on September 24, 2023, in a private ceremony that blended Bollywood flair with political elegance. Close relatives and friends, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, were in attendance. Parineeti wore a simple ivory lehenga by Manish Malhotra, while Raghav chose a classic cream sherwani. The wedding spanned a few days and included a haldi, mehendi, and a Sufi night, showcasing the couple’s warm, spiritual side.
