Wunderbar Films, Dhanush’s own production house teaming up with Dawn Pictures, shared the news on X (formerly Twitter). They posted, "The cop in the frame. Introducing @rparthiepan as ARIVU. #IdliKadai – Worldwide Theatrical release on October 1st. Get set for the audio launch on 14th September. #IdlikadaiCharacterIntroduction." Dhanush himself hyped it up with a tweet: "The mischievous @rparthiepan sir as Arivu – #IdliKadai."
This comes after the team already unveiled other big names in the cast. Rajkiran plays Sivanesan, Sathyaraj takes on Vishnu Vardhan, and Arun Vijay portrays Ashwin.
