Bollywood actress Patralekhaa is currently in her second trimester and excited to become a mother. She recently shared her pregnancy journey on Soha Ali Khan's podcast, opening up about her early symptoms, cravings, and the happiness she feels about welcoming a new family member. During the chat, Soha Ali Khan asked Patralekhaa if her pregnancy was planned or a surprise. The actress revealed that she decided to visit a gynecologist out of curiosity—something she had never done before. To her surprise, the doctor told her she was pregnant. Patralekhaa said, “We (Rajkummar and I) couldn’t believe it. We were shocked!” Talking about her cravings, Patralekhaa mentioned that she had a sudden longing for vada pav for about two weeks, and she’s usually not a fan of it. Her doctor, Ranjana Dhannu, also spoke about pregnancy planning, emphasizing that couples should ideally wait for around two years before planning parenthood. Dr. Dhannu explained that men don’t have a biological clock, and they can father children even at an advanced age. She added, “The joy of holding your baby and watching your child crawl is so amazing—those moments make you forget any pain.” Patralekhaa also praised her partner, Rajkummar Rao, for being a caring and supportive future father. She shared that Rajkummar isn’t the type to boss her around or tell her what to do. Instead, he’s very concerned and calls her every day to check on her, even while he’s away shooting. She also spoke about her fitness routine, saying she has loved working out since she was 10 years old. Staying active helps her feel balanced and happy during pregnancy. Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa tied the knot in November 2021 after dating for 11 years. They first met on the sets of the movie Citylights in 2014. Rajkummar proposed in October 2021, and a month later, they had a quiet wedding in Chandigarh with close family and friends. The couple announced their pregnancy in July this year and are looking forward to welcoming their little bundle of joy soon.
