The 35‑year‑old Bollywood star didn’t reveal what she was shooting, but she recently promoted her new music video “Monica” from the Tamil film Coolie. The action thriller, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, stars Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra and others. It marks Rajinikanth’s 171st film and the first time he and Sathyaraj appear together on screen in almost 38 years.
Pooja is also set to star in the political action thriller Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth. The movie will feature Vijay, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol, along with Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Nayan and Priyamani. Vijay’s 69th lead role, officially announced in January 2025, is expected to be his last film before he enters politics. The film is also KVN’s first Tamil production.
In addition, Pooja heads the cast of the Hindi romance Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai with Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur.
