“G.D.N.” follows the life of Coimbatore‑born self‑taught engineer and inventor Naidu. He is credited with building India’s first indigenous electric motor and later developing petrol engines, ticket machines, and agricultural equipment—transforming the industry at home.

The film is directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar and produced by Varghese Moolan Pictures with Tricolour Films. Madhavan isn’t the only star; the cast also includes Priyamani, Jayaram, and Yogi Babu, with music by Govind Vasantha.

Madhavan’s recent behind‑the‑scenes snapshot—showing the actor clean‑shaven on set—was shared with the caption, “Another day… another look. Life on set goes on. So very blessed and grateful to have the most extraordinary cast, crew, and wonderful producers. #GDN.”

The actor has more projects on his plate, too, including “De De Pyaar De 2” with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.

With the first look already generating chatter, “G.D.N.” looks like it’s set to capture audiences who love inspiring true stories of innovation and determination.
