Mumbai, Nov 3 – Film director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) is getting audiences ready for his next horror‑comedy, Police Station Mein Bhoot. The movie stars veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee and actress Genelia Deshmukh, and the buzz is already building.

Varma dropped the first look of Bh‑film icon Ramya Krishnan in a striking new avatar. In the photo she sports dark hair, heavy kajal, a bold lip shade and a splash of cheeky jewelry that hints at a possible occult‑specialist role. The “Baahubali” star also sports a few face and body tattoos, adding a fresh twist to her onscreen persona. The director shared the image on his official X account and wrote, “Here’s @meramyakrishnan in POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT (sic).”

Police Station Mein Bhoot marks a reunion between RGV and Manoj Bajpayee after nearly 30 years. The duo first shared the screen in the 1998 crime classic Satya. RGV said, “Coming back together with Manoj after Satya is thrilling and nostalgic. Fear is most frightening when it challenges the highest authority of protection, and a police station is the ultimate symbol of power.”

The director also highlighted Genelia’s presence: “With Manoj’s intensity and Genelia’s vulnerability, this story will expand how we see horror through the lens of authority.” Genelia posted on Instagram in support of the film, calling it “a thriller like no other, built on a chilling thought: ‘When we’re scared, we run to the police. But where do the police run when they’re scared?’”

With a catchy title, a veteran cast and RGV’s unique blend of horror and comedy, Police Station Mein Bhoot is shaping up to be a must‑watch for fans of Indian cinema. Stay tuned for more updates as the release date approaches.
