Bollywood stars turned out in force for a special screening of a new musical stage show that dives into Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life story. The event, held in Mumbai on Sunday, spotlighted “Mera Desh Pahle: The Untold Story Of Shri Narendra Modi,” curated by acclaimed lyricist and poet Manoj Muntashir.
Big names like Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Janhvi Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Vikrant Massey, and Arjun Kapoor showed up to support the show. Filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Ashutosh Gowariker joined the crowd too, adding some serious industry buzz.
Janhvi Kapoor couldn’t hide her enthusiasm when chatting with reporters. “Everyone knows PM Modi’s story, but seeing it come alive in such a creative way thrills me as an artist,” she said. Asked what inspires her most, the actress behind “Mili” pointed to “everything PM Modi does for the country.”
Shefali Shah echoed that excitement, highlighting Modi’s unique qualities. “His transparency stands out, yet there’s this mystery to how this amazing person thinks—I’m really looking forward to it,” she shared.
Manoj Muntashir dreamed up the entire production, which traces Narendra Modi’s journey from his early days to his rise as a political leader. Deepak Gattani directed the show, with producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah backing the project. Music fans will love the powerful performances by singers B Praak, Sneha Shankar, Rishi Singh, Ashish Kulkarni, and Ujwal Gajbhar.
The Delhi government’s Art and Culture department lent its support to the event. Political heavyweights like BJP chief JP Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, state BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, and Delhi Culture Minister Kapil Mishra were there, rubbing shoulders with Olympic medal winners, Padma award recipients, leaders from literature and arts, judges, and top sports figures. It was a star-studded night celebrating Modi’s inspiring legacy through music and storytelling.
