Rashmika Mandanna’s horror‑comedy, Thamma, hit theatres on Tuesday, and the star took a moment from promotion to look back on the film’s journey.
On social media, the actress said, “Thamma… Ahh… where do I even begin? From the first call‑sheet to the final cut, this film has been more than just work – it’s been a journey of heart, grit, laughter, bruises and mornings we didn’t want to wake up for and nights we didn’t want to end.”
She thanked director Aditya Sarpotdar for his confidence in her, noting, “My heart is full of respect for you. You trusted me, pushed me, saw the film’s potential, and helped us get there.”
Rashmika also praised her co‑stars. “Working with Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui was effortless and natural. I’m so happy we got to create this together,” she wrote.
During the shoot, Rashmika highlighted the crew’s hard work. “They came early, stayed late, carried gear up hills, chased the right light in all weather, and fixed any wounds. Because of their effort we captured those moments and made memories that felt worth it when the film plays in the theatre.”
She shared personal moments on set, after a long day of makeup or tough lines, she told fans, “I’m so grateful for every moment and for the support that’s built my confidence.”
Closing her message, Rashmika added, “With Thamma finally out, I can’t wait for you to watch it. It’s day one of gratitude and love.”
The film, starring a blend of Bollywood talent and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, promises fans a mix of scares and laughs, and Rashmika’s heartfelt post underscores the dedication behind this release.
