Rashmika Mandanna shared a sweet moment on Instagram that fans are already talking about. The actress posted a clip of herself and her four‑legged friend Aura, both listening to the first song from her new movie “Thamma.” She wrote, “This is the first track I heard from the film, and I’m still in love with it.” The track, “Rahein Na Rahein Hum,” also became a fan favorite after its release on Friday.
The song is sung by Soumyadeep Sarkar and produced by the popular duo Sachin‑Jigar. Lyrics were written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, who has crafted many hit songs before. In a statement, Sachin‑Jigar said the track “speaks to the heart,” aiming to capture the quiet ache of separation that stays with you. He added that Bhattacharya’s words bring that feeling to life and that Soumyadeep’s vocal performance makes it real.
“Thamma” features Rashmika as Tadaka, with Ayushmann Khurrana playing Alok, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan, and Paresh Rawal as Ram Bajaj Goyal. The film, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, promises a mix of history and supernatural suspense. It tells the story of a determined historian who dives into ancient manuscripts and uncovers dark secrets about local vampire myths, sparking a supernatural stir in a fictional world.
The makers plan a theatrical release on October 21, in time for the Diwali holiday, giving fans an extra reason to light up the festive season with a new Bollywood adventure.
