Nestled in Chennai’s bustling film scene, actress Rashmika Mandanna shared the first look of director Sandeep Raj’s next project, the romantic‑action flick Mowgli 2025, on her X feed on Tuesday. The trailer spotlights lead actor Roshan Kanakala, generating a wave of excitement among enthusiasts and movie lovers alike.

The opening sequence introduces Bandi Saroj Kumar—who plays a policeman—offering a folk tale about a king and his seven sons. He recounts how the crew returned from a hunt with seven fish, only to find that one remained moist, prompting the youngest son to ask, “Why did you not dry?” The story’s narrator challenges a bystander with, “Do fishes speak?”
Later, the clip spotlights Roshan Kanakala as the story’s hero. His companion Bunty muses about him, saying, “To me, he is Kittu. To all the others, he is Mowgli.” Their intimate knowledge of the jungle sets the stage for a film crew landing there. According to insiders, the shoot has already wrapped its third, two‑week schedule. A significant climax action set was filmed in Maredumilli, lasting 15 days. Roshan Kanakala is slated to carry most of the risky stunts himself, promising an electrifying show‑stopper for viewers.
The film, directed by the National Award‑winning filmmaker Sandeep Raj—known for Color Photo—is spearheaded by producers TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. Debutante heroine Sakshi Sagar Mhadolkar anchors the romance, while Rama Maruthi M lends his cinematographic eye and B.V. Kala Bhairava composes the score. Kodati Pawan Kalyan edits the feature, Kiran Mamidi designs the sets, and action choreography is handled by Nataraj Madigonda. The screenplay is crafted by Rama Maruthi M and Radhakrishna Reddy.
