Mumbai, Oct 24 – Rashmika Mandanna laughed her way back into a theatre this week, finally getting the full audience reaction to her new film Thamma. After the horror‑comedy hit screen on Tuesday, the actress slipped in on a Wednesday night and posted the moment on her Instagram Stories.
In the story she wrote, “Dear diary, I might have just sneaked back into the theatre to watch Thamma. It’s a different feeling listening to the laughs, whistles, and reactions all around while watching the film.” She added a heart emoji and thanked everyone who watched the movie, wrote, “We’re sooo happy!! I love you all!!” She even mentioned that she grabbed her favourite 80‑20 salted‑caramel popcorn, adding a popcorn emoji.
The release of Thamma showed Rashmika reflecting on her journey from the first call sheet to the final cut. “It’s more than just work – it’s a heart‑felt journey of grit, laughter, bruises, and late‑night work,” she said.
Rashmika also praised director Aditya Sarpotdar for his trust and guidance, saying, “To our incredible director, I have full respect for you. You saw what the film could be and helped us get there.” She celebrated working with Bollywood stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, noting the effortless and natural chemistry on set.
